The Ombudsman for Life and Health Insurance (OLHI) has made a new appointment.
Glenn O’Farrell will become OLHI’s CEO and ombudsman, effective Aug. 19, the Toronto-based Insurance Complaint Resolution Service said in a statement Tuesday. O’Farrell will be based in the Toronto office.
O’Farrell is a member of the Quebec Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Institute of Corporate Directors. He served on the boards of many companies, as well as non-profit corporations.
Until recently, he served as CEO of Groupe MĂ©dia TFO.
OLHI investigates complaints regarding life insurance, disability insurance and travel insurance; health benefits for employees; and insurance investment products such as annuities and segregated funds.
