Equitable Life, a Waterloo, Ontario-based mutual life insurance company, is launching its EZcomplete online application tool for segregated funds.
The tool’s features include detailed instructions enabling advisors to provide correct data and immediate processing by Equitable Life staff, the release reads.
Judy Williams, vice president of savings and retirement at Equitable Life, said in a release that response to the tool has been positive, with the majority of life and critical illness claims now being received electronically.
