Funda Canada Inc. based in Toronto awarded hundreds of FundGrade A+ awards to Canadian investment funds on Wednesday.
Fifty-seven companies were recognized during the annual event. Mutual funds received 206 A+ ratings in 2021, of which 62 went to ETFs, 115 to segregated funds and three to responsible investing funds.
The release said the 386 winning funds in total represent approximately 6% of eligible mutual funds and 7% of eligible ETFs monitored by Fundata.
The awards recognize investment funds and managers that have demonstrated “consistent, exceptional risk-adjusted performance” over a 10-year period, he said.
