Fundata Canada Inc. held its annual awards ceremony on Thursday in Toronto. based in Toronto.<\/p>\n

The big winner was Toronto-based Manulife Asset Management Ltd., whose 34 mutual funds and segregated funds were recognized with FundGrade A+ awards.<\/p>\n

In total, 60 companies representing 274 Canadian investment funds were honored at the 2018 awards gala.<\/p>\n

The A+ award for 2018 was awarded to 168 investment funds, 41 ETF funds, 62 segregated funds and three responsible investment funds.<\/p>\n

The FundGrade A+ Award is presented annually to mutual funds and managers that demonstrate consistent, exceptional risk-adjusted performance throughout the year, based on a track record spanning up to 10 years.<\/p>\n

Dynamic Funds and Sun Life Assurance Co., both based in Toronto, each received 23 awards for their combination of mutual funds and segmented funds.<\/p>\n

CI Investment Inc. based in Toronto, has been recognized with awards for 21 of its investment funds and spin-off funds.<\/p>\n
