The 2022 FundGrade A+ Awards were presented on Thursday in Toronto to 62 fund companies representing 362 funds.
Awards presented by Fundata Canada Inc. based in Toronto are based on a risk-adjusted performance history spanning as much as 10 years.
The For 2022, 362 funds have been allocated consisted of 179 mutual funds, 85 ETF funds, 95 segregated funds and three responsible investment funds.
CI Investments Inc. had the most honored funds. (39), followed by The Canada Life Assurance Co. (31) and RBC Global Asset Management Inc. (28).
Three fund managers were recognized for the first time since the awards began in 2012: Forge First Asset Management Inc. based in Toronto; Lincluden Investment Management Ltd. based in Mississauga, Ontario; and Victoria, BC-based McElvaine Investment Management Ltd.
In 2021, the award was awarded to 57 companies representing 386 funds.
